Mulberry University Technical College (UTC) is a school for girls and boys aged 14-19.

This application form allows students to apply for a place at Mulberry UTC, so they can leave their existing school at the end of Year 9 and join the UTC at the start of Year 10. An adult who has legal parental responsibility for the child applying must complete this form.

The deadline for receipt of applications will be published on the website.

Our admissions policy gives priority to:

  1. Students with Education, Health and Care Plans
  2. Students who are, or who have been, looked after by the local authority
  3. Students who receive the Pupil Premium
  4. Priority admission to any Mulberry school for children of staff working two years or more within the Trust
  5. The siblings of current or former students of Mulberry UTC, Mulberry School for Girls or Mulberry Academy Shoreditch

  • I confirm that I wish to apply for a place for my child at Mulberry UTC.
  • I certify that I am the person with parental responsibility for the child named above and that the information given is true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
  • I understand that I may be required to provide additional evidence, e.g. in relation to the child’s home address, their sibling status or their eligibility for the Pupil Premium.
  • I understand that a place may be withdrawn if it is offered because of fraudulent or misleading information.
  • I give permission for the information I have provided in this application form to be securely held, processed and shared for school admissions purposes, in accordance with Education Regulations and the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.


Supplementary Form: Pupil Premium Admission Priority

Mulberry UTC gives priority to students receiving the Pupil Premium. This means that, if the school is over-subscribed, pupils who are eligible for the Pupil Premium will be offered a place before children who are not eligible.
