Students from across the UTC have had the opportunity to discover the variety of routes into apprenticeships in a packed week of activities that included the Apprenticeships Fair.
A talk from beauty practitioners B by C Studio focused on how studying a STEM apprenticeship works as an entry route into the beauty industry and, through progression and development, can lead to starting your own beauty business. The Metropolitan Police, PWC and Berkeley Group PLC presented on the opportunities available in their organisations, and the government’s ASK programme provided students with advice about the application process, including covering letters, psychometric testing and interviews.
