Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is an additional payment made by the Department of Education to the school for each pupil that meets certain criteria. To be eligible, pupils must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) or have been receiving FSM in any of the last six years.
  2. Looked after by the local authority
  3. Children of armed services personnel

As part of the funding agreement between the Mulberry Schools Trust and the Department for Education, the academy is required to publish on its website information relating to Pupil Premium funding. The information we must make available is as follows:

  • How the Pupil Premium funds allocated to the school were spent in the previous academic year (2019-20)
  • The impact of that spending during that academic year (2019-20)
  • The amount of Pupil Premium funding which the school will receive in the current year (2020-21)
  • How the school intends to spend the Pupil Premium funding which it will receive in 2020-21
