We are excited to be introducing the T-level in Health: Midwifery. This gives you the chance to gain an industry-relevant qualification, equivalent to three A-levels, which will take you on to university, apprenticeships and beyond.
T-levels are new qualifications introduced by the government and designed in partnership with employers. The aim is to make sure young people are learning in a way that prepares them for the workplace.
At Mulberry UTC, we will be offering the T-level in Health: Midwifery from September 2025 onwards. This will give you the knowledge and skills to move into a career in midwifery or related areas.
In this course, you will learn about:
- The clinical assessments undertaken by midwives and health professionals
- Techniques needed by midwives and health professionals when working with patients
- How to create care plans
- How to support patients to stay healthy during the antenatal, pregnancy, and postnatal periods
Health T-level students will spend time being trained in the school’s hospital ward and will also make use of the care suite. These fantastic facilities ensure students are well-prepared for the working world. The T-level also includes 45 days of placement in healthcare settings.
T-level entry requirements:
- At least 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grades 9-4
- GCSE English, Maths and Science at least grade 4
